A downloadable game
My first attempt to write game for ZX Spectrum fully in Z80 assembly.
Your task is to control space fighter, shoot space mold and protect the fighter and bases against the mold.
Instructions in game.
Controls: keyboard only. Keys can be redefined in game.
Tested using emulator Fuse 1.6.0

This is a really cool little game! Thank you so much for posting it for download :) I was wondering if you would consider adding Kempston joystick support? I like playing on original hardware and prefer a joystick. Only if you fancy the challenge, not to worry otherwise :) PS - incredible first attempt!!
I have uploaded new version with kempston support. It should work automatically when you are in game.
Unfortunately I could not properly test it, because I don't have real hardware. However it worked in Fuse with XBox controller.
Also it support only one fire button at the moment.
Hi, works perfect on a real 48k Spectrum utilising a Kempston interface - thank you! I defined the keys setting space as button 2, and then used my Kempston joystick with the space bar to drop bombs! Works really well, you should be really happy with it. Reminded me of fighting Ivy in my back garden!! Only other recommendation would be to slowly increase the speed of encroachment of the 'green mass' to keep the excitement and challenge up. Well done honestly, and thanks again :)
